A.B.A. Fuseini, a prominent critic of the current government has issued a stern warning to Ghanaians, urging them to reject Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia as the successor to President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Fuseini described Akufo-Addo as the “most incompetent president in Ghana’s history” and cautioned that choosing Bawumia would mean continuing the current administration’s failures.

With the December 7, 2024, election looming, Fuseini emphasized that Ghanaians face a critical turning point.

They must decide whether to continue down the path of decline under Bawumia or embrace a new direction with John Mahama, who offers a comprehensive plan for reorganization and redirection.

Fuseini criticized the Free SHS program implemented by the current government, calling it poorly planned and executed.

He recalled that John Mahama had proposed a phased approach to the program, which was dismissed in favor of a fully free system without proper planning. The result has been numerous challenges that could have been avoided with a more gradual and well-considered implementation.

Fuseini urged Ghanaians to elect John Mahama and his running mate, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, to implement a progressively free SHS program with thorough planning to ensure sustainable education and adequate nutrition for children. He warned voters against the deceit of the NPP government, which he described as ineffective and  trustworthy
