Empty promises and noisemaking doesn’t win elections – supporters of Kennedy Agyepong.
A group of people in Kumasi who shares the ideologies of Hon Kennedy Agyapong have observed that using political influence to make empty promises does not give one the mandate to win elections.
Rather they stated that promises which goes with actions are the best option that potray the credibility of a person.
Speaking to the correspondent in an interview, Ricky Mensah a popular business man in Kumasi expressed regret that some politicians in the country have made the game to become dirty, though democracy is a system which promotes peace, unity and development.
Mensah said out of ignorance coupled with power corruptness, certain politicians go waywardness and give promises which they couldn’t fulfill them.
Another crony of Kennedy Agyapong, Mr Okyere Darko asserted that politicians who give promises that they hardly fulfill them can be likened to an armed robber who gives false alarm to scare people and robs them later.
Darko indicated that some politicians are loitering about in the country aimlessly looking for opportunities to milk the country dry.
They don’t think about the welfare of the people let alone have the sense of direction to apply their wealth judiciously to support the development of the economy.
Richard Amponsah underscored that Kennedy Agyapong is a man of ideas, who believes in human dignity hence he is always focused and spends his money to raise the living standards of the people and economy.
He however took the opportunity to advise the delegates in the Npp’s presidential elections to transfer the leadership role to Kennedy Agyapong to enable him break the ‘8’ in the 2024 elections for the benefit of the entire country.
