Amidst the backdrop of a challenging economic climate, Senior Apostle Abraham Appiakorang, General Overseer of the Victory Zion Ministry (My Father’s Temple) in Accra, has delivered a powerful message of hope and unwavering faith to Christians in Ghana.
In his recent monthly religious e-sermon, Apostle Appiakorang emphasized the transformative power of Christ, the “good shepherd,” to deliver believers from any adversity, even at the precipice of death.
Drawing from the timeless truth of scripture, Apostle Abraham Appiakorang stressed that salvation and rescue are solely in the hands of God. He particularly referenced Psalm 23:1, highlighting the assurance that “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” He articulated that as believers under the care of a good shepherd, they should never lack or be overcome by evil. Christ, the good shepherd, is ever-prepared to protect and guide his flock using his mighty weapons.
Looking forward to February 2025, the Senior Apostle brought a message of profound assurance. He declared that no matter the challenges – whether they are marriage-related, job-related, financial in nature, or any other tribulation – the good shepherd possesses the complete solution. He prophesied, “Your shepherd will salvage you from all your troubles because He is an unfailing Shepherd (God).”
Apostle Appiakorang passionately conveyed the limitations of human solutions. “Your parents, politicians, and friends cannot solve your problems,” he declared, but affirmed that “the good shepherd is more than ready to polish and transform your life.” He added emphatically, “If the unfailing Shepherd says yes, who can say no? And if He says ‘I am ready to do,’ who can challenge?”
He concluded his powerful message with a call to action: “Bear in mind that yours is to believe and surrender your bad ways and experience the true salvation of God.” The essence of his sermon was a resounding call to faith, urging believers to place their complete trust in the power and unwavering love of the good shepherd, Christ.
