6th March 2026, marks the 69th Independence celebration for Ghana.
This is a special day for Ghanaians to remember the freedom they had from colonial masters to manage their own affairs of the country through His Excellency Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the first President of Ghana.
On this special day, His Excellency the former president John Agyekum Kufuor showed up at the gathering to celebrate the day with the current President of the land, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. Photos from the ceremony captured several ministers both local and foreign at the event. His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo the immediate past president of Ghana was present.
Addressing the media ( Adom TV and Adom FM) the former President, His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor applauded His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for his good works for the people of Ghana and how he is managing the country. His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor publicly declared that Ghana, as a country have been a significant progress. He also left a piece of advice to all Ghanaians with the future in mind.
According to His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor, despite the progress that the country has been able to make through its leaders, Ghanaians must know that there is more work to be done and the major task lies ahead of us. Hence, Ghanaians must cooperate with the government and the leaders the right attitude to help the country.
