Ghana Cannot Achieve Positive Democratic Results If Pastors Refuse To Speak The Truth – Apostle Boateng.

A Kumasi based popular man of God, His Eminence Apostle Godbless Boateng has unequivocally stated that the country’s democratic practice cannot properly stand if the religious leaders, politicians, chiefs and other stakeholders who are the movers of the economy refuse to speak the truth.

Speaking to a section of the media in reaction to the alleged bad attitudes of some pastors and statesmen on the social media, especially the pastors who predicts doom for the country about the upcoming December elections, His Eminence Apostle Boateng who is the founder and leader of the Cornerstone Bible Church International located at Kumasi Ayigya noted that the country has reached a point where people disregard doomsday prophecies.

As pastors our mandate are to secure divine intervention against any negative occurrence that coul fall on the the country, but not frightening prophecies that have the tendencies to create fear and d panic among the citizenry, he noted.

For me Ghanaians would experience violence free elections, cautioning that if we mean the country is democratically matured then we should avoid false prophesies, hiring of macho men in election periods to create chaos among other electoral malpractices in the country.

Apostle Godbless reiterated that pastos are called to serve, speak the truth, transform the society through the word of God and win souls into the Lord’s vineyard, therefore any pastor who lacks such qualities should consider himself as a sycophant and hypocrite the scriptures talk about.

The outspoken clergy expressed worry that asides some pastors resorting to false prophecies especially in this electioneering period, apparently with bad intentions to amass wealth from politicians others have also engaged themselves in active politics for alleged fame and wealth creation.

Apostle Godbless Boateng asserted that for the fact that as the country is at crossroads and needs prayers for God’s guidance and protection, some popular religious leaders who are supposed to know better and speak the hard truth to the leaders to change their bad ways have rather turned themselves into politicians siding with the political giants just because of butter and bread to destroy the country.

The man of God asked that if pastors shun to speak the truth or sacrifice the truth for politics in exchange of personal gains how would be the stand of the country’s democracy.

The Apostle took advantage of the media encounter to appeal to the Peace Council, Pentecostal, Moslems among other leading religious organizations across the country to rise up to their mandates and point out the mistakes of the leaders in both the ruling Npp and opposition Ndc for them to make amendments without fear or favor.

His Eminence Apostle Godbless Boateng noted that if the big guns in the religious front take the lead and courageously correct the mistakes of the politicians, the unity, peace and freedom the country is enjoying would last for a very long time to come.
