Ghanaians Urged To Change Their Bad Attitude Towards Work To Build Better Ghana – Executive Secretary N.I.A
As we are in the month of March, usually known as Ghana month, Ghanaians from all spheres of life are recounting on the road to independence, the state of the nation so far and the way forward to take the country in a good direction for better Ghana.
On the occasion , Professor Kenneth Agyemang Attafuah, a staunch public figure and the Executive Secretary, National Identification Authority, making his contribution as a Ghanaian towards building a better Ghana that Ghannaian are yearning for, has stated that Ghana has gone through a lot after independence in 1957.
He said the country has since been dependent on other countries for survival for which he says Ghana is only politically independent and not self independent.
According to him Ghana still lacks social, economic and mental independent among others once we still take decisions from the world market and some international factors.
He further made assertions that, accomplishing a better Ghana dreams, there must be leaders with visionary ideas, proper developmental plans as well as implementing and making them effective.
We must also have proper communication background, building a strong partnership, involving followers in decision making and also having skills in solving conflict to install peaceful environments.
Descending on the Ghanaian, he bemoaned the bad habit and attitudes at work places like lateness, non commitment, unpatriotism, sleeping on duties, non devotional behaviour, surfing social media during productive hours among other deviant attitudes which drags Ghana back daily from developing to be like other countries that Ghana even obtained independence before them.
