God’s unbiased hand: Bishop Dr John Yaw Adu Emphasizes upliftment for all.

By King Amoah

Kumasi, Ghana – Bishop Dr. J.Y. Adu, founder and leader of the New Jerusalem Chapel in Kumasi- Ampayoo Ampayoo, has delivered a powerful message of faith and hope, emphasizing that God’s blessings and upliftment are available to all, regardless of their social standing.

Speaking during the church’s 31st night program, Bishop Adu urged Ghanaians to place their trust firmly in God for both physical and spiritual growth, asserting that prosperity and elevation are achievable for everyone through faith.

“No matter your status in society, the good and merciful God, who does not discriminate, can instantly uplift you,” declared Bishop Adu, highlighting the impartial nature of God’s grace. He expressed his gratitude for God’s guidance throughout 2024 and into 2025, and also celebrated the fulfillment of his prophecies concerning Ghana and the world at large.

Bishop Adu, who has dedicated 54 years to ministry, shared his own remarkable journey. Coming from a rural area lacking infrastructure, he admitted that he had never imagined the extent of God’s favor in his life, leading him to become a respected Bishop on the global stage.

He used his experience as tangible proof that God does not discriminate when it comes to uplifting individuals, both materially and spiritually.

He encouraged the congregation to renew their trust and believe that God can transform sorrows into joy for those who faithfully rely on Him.

“God’s plans are unlimited to people who trust him,” Bishop Adu stated. “He doesn’t consider whether you’re rich or handsome before uplifting you.” He further explained that God often reveals wisdom to the least expected, citing the biblical passage from Matthew 11:25: “At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank the Father, O Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them unto the babies.”

Bishop Adu then drew attention to 1 Corinthians 2:6-7, emphasizing the hidden wisdom revealed by God to His followers, a wisdom not of this world. He highlighted that if such secrets are given to the seemingly naive, or “babies,” instead of the “wise and prudent,” it should remind everyone that they are capable and called to do great things in service of God.

It is through this grace that believers can find the power to heal, the kindness to support others, and achieve greatness in the Lord, who does not discriminate.

Concluding his sermon, Bishop Adu urged his congregation to embrace self-confidence, reminding them that the Lord is ready to uplift them if they are willing to carry His cross. He left the congregation with a powerful message of hope and encouragement, reinforcing that God’s love and favor know no bounds.
