An HIV/AIDS patient identified as Konadu has made a shocking confession about her sexual encounters with three different men, one of whom is said to be an employee of the Adonko company and resides at Santasi in the Ashanti Region.
According to Konadu, she decided to open up about her past relationships as part of her effort to create awareness about HIV and encourage people to live responsibly. She revealed that she got infected with the virus after engaging in unprotected sex and now wants to use her experience to educate others on the dangers of unsafe intimacy.
Speaking in an emotional interview, Konadu explained that her diagnosis came as a life-changing moment, forcing her to reflect deeply on the decisions that led her to this point. She admitted that before discovering her status, she had slept with three men — including the Adonko worker — without using protection.
“I didn’t know my status then, and I regret everything. I’m not saying this to shame anyone but to make people learn from my mistake. HIV is real, and it can happen to anyone,” Konadu said
She urged the public, especially the youth, to prioritize regular HIV testing, practice safe sex, and avoid multiple sexual partners. Konadu emphasized that living with HIV is not the end of life but requires strict adherence to medication and a positive mindset.
Her revelation has since sparked conversations on social media, with many commending her courage to speak openly about her condition and advocate for public health awareness.
Health experts continue to urge Ghanaians to undergo regular health screenings and fight the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS, stressing that early detection and treatment can help infected persons live long and healthy lives.
