Homosexuality scandals in Ghana: What is Mahama’s current reaction based on his campaign promises to Ghanaians ?

An Npp Communicator Baba Amando wanted to know.

President Mahama’s administration has transformed our historic Independence Square into a s venue for promoting homosexuality.

Every Ghanaian would recall how President Akufo-Addo’s reputation was tarnished for no reason except for political capital due to Ghana’s staunch opposition to the LGBTQ+ community.

Honorable Sam Nartey George (MP, Minister for Communications) jointly accused President Akuffo Addo, along with President Mahama and the NDC, of being partners in this dangerous society, despite the absence of a single truth in their allegations.

The clergy and the media amplified these allegations and addressed their congregation and listeners respectively, urging them to vote against the NPP due to the NdC’s accusation of the NPP having some association with this LGBTQ community.

Under the leadership of President Mahama, the nation has witnessed a notable influx of Members of the LGBTQ community. The President has actively facilitated their integration, enabling two gay couples, Rue and Lue from South Africa, to express their love and commitment to each other under the iconic Pride of our nation, a symbol of our independence, and the statue of our country’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Regrettably, the clergy and media have remained silent regarding the perilous situation we are facing. They have inexplicably lost their voices, as this matter pertains to President Mahama. If they were to speak out, their chances of being appointed by his regime would be severely diminished.

This incident severely undermines the integrity of both the clergy and the media. Their silence emboldens the President, and it is likely that he will soon invite his close associate from the LGBTQ community, the world’s gay activist, Mr. Andrew Solomon into the country like he did under his first tenure. Solomon’s previous article, titled “In Bed with the President of Ghana,” published in the New York Times in 2013, asserted that only President Mahama can assist their community in establishing itself in Africa. This article is likely to resurface in the near future.

It is imperative that this nation be rescued promptly to prevent irreparable consequences. The President poses a significant threat to both his personal well-being and the overall prosperity of the country.

The President is currently exerting significant influence over the various branches of government through a series of judicial coups. This has resulted in the suspension of the Chief Justice and the appointment of seven justices, whom the President claimed were affiliated with his political party prior to their nomination.

Let us assert ourselves and safeguard the integrity of our nation.
