The Chairman for the Identifiable Group of the Ashanti New Patriotic Party (Npp) Mr Mark Obeng has officially declared his intention to vie for the position of Constituency Organizer for the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in the Ashanti Region.
His declaration comes ahead of the official opening of nominations for the exercise which signals an early start to his campaign and a clear statement of purpose.
In an exclusive interview with the Correspondent Obeng who also serves as a polling station agents chairman for the Npp at Asuofua underscored the gravity of his decision.
He asserted that he finds his decision as important due to the crucial moment the party finds itself.
He emphasized that the party’s current stand has reached an era where strong and matured politicians need to handle and reorganize it to come back to power in 2028.
His ambition he said is rooted in a belief that effective organization at the grassroots level is paramount to the party’s success in the upcoming general elections.
Beyond his current position as Chairman for the Identifiable Group he also chairs the Kumasi Kajetia PZ Npp Retailers Association.
These roles he believes have equipped him with unique leadership and organizational skills.
Having handled people of different backgrounds I believe I can deliver up to demand when I become the Constituency Organizer for the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency, he confidently stated.
He indicated his readiness to unite and mobilize diverse groups within the party’s broader base.
Detailing his strategic approach Obeng revealed that as he have a policy of no fail, he will use his political maturity and experience to surprise party stalwarts especially on the areas of party organisation when he surfaces.
