I have A Trust In The New Ministers- Nana B. Declares
The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B. has expressed his absolute confidence in the newly appointed ministers by the President, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo.
Nana B acknowledged and appreciated the President for adhering to the sincere call of the NPP General Secretary, Lawyer Justin Koduah’s request during the End of Year thanksgiving, to have his cabinet reshuffled in order to bring more energy into the governance of the country.
Speaking to the correspondent in an interview, Nana B argued that the timing for the reshuffling is perfect; a departure from the view by some that this action by the President is coming rather too late.
According to him, there have been instances where an incumbent government had his cabinet changed six months to elections.
Hence, having a reshuffle ten months to elections is not a wrong decision to make.
Nana B further expressed his excitement at the blend of the old and youth for the various ministries.
”I am particularly excited about this reshuffle. I am excited, first of all, for the mix, that effective blend with the experienced and the young faces with new energy.
Spending three months and more in Parliament offers you the opportunity to harness more experiences, hence, i think they can do the work and i have trust in all of them,” he said.
