Kennedy Agyapong’s defeat: Residents of Central region react amidst decision to vote ” skirt and blouse” against Bawumia.
Cross section of residents of Central Region particularly, Assin Central have expressed extreme disappointment by the NPP delegates’ decision to vote for the Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia instead of Kennedy Agyapong.
According to them they had the believe that the defeated candidate Hon. Kennedy Agyapong is the only one who could restore the lost hope of the country amid economic difficulties and high unemployment rate.
Some residents say they would vote skirt and blouse in the 2024 general election against Bawumia while others say they would not vote at all.
Some of the disappointed residents agitated that, Nana Addo deliberately pushed Bawumia to lead the party so that he can have total control over Bawumia’s after his term of office had expired
Meanwhile, the whole constituencies have turned into an arena of ghost zones as most of the people are remaining indoors indicating their frustrations and disappointment.
