Information reaches this website from Kumasi in the Ashanti region indicates that three names have been allegedly popped up in the upcoming presidential hopeful’s elections of the New Patriotic Party, that pointed out that the Vice president Dr Mahamud Bawumia, former Trade Minister Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng and the Member of Parliament, Hon Kennedy Agyepong are the main candidates whom all eyes are watching them on who would win the elections.
According to our short survey in Kumasi, Kennedy Agyepong has been tipped to be the winner to be followed by Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng in the second position with the Vice president taking the third position.
Divergent opinions also suggest that Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng is a potential winner because his time is up to lead the Npp to help break the ‘8’ according to the custom of the party.
Others oppose to the custom of “its my time slogan” describing it as outmooded since the party is in advanced era, and suggested that that Dr Mahamud Bawumia is the best choice whose presence can ensure breaking the ‘8’.
In summarizing their opinions, it was gathered that the Vice president is in the government serving as the second in command of the Republic, he has done nothing with his boss Akuffo Addo to improve the living standard of the people.
So what policies he would bring to transform the country when the mandate is given to him to become the next president, therefore delegates have to treat him with contempt.
About Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng supporters of the New Patriotic Party said since former president Agyekum Kuffour’s regime down to Akuffo Addo’s regime, he has done nothing that could attract the delegates attention to vote for him
The slogan that it is my time is outmooded because we are in a civilized era this time.
Hon Kennedy Agyepong has not proud himself in any positions in the country, since the foundation of the New Patriotic Party yet his contributions are uncountable as known to all Npp stalwarts.
He is transparent, business oriented gentleman, philanthropist, matured politician and unifier who can lead the party to victory in the 2024 elections if the mandate is given to him.
But as to who will win the upcoming presidential hopeful race of the New Patriotic Party only time will tell.
