Kumasi Vendor Declares Intention To Contest In The Presidential Race Of Npp.
The Ashanti Regional chairman of the Newspapers Vendors Association of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Bismark Ayensu says he is readily prepared to join in the fray to contest in the party’s presidential race and win the position to enable him lead the Npp in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking to the reporter in an interview, Ayensu said it is now time where the party should engage and vote for an energetic and courageous young man with good policies who can work hard to ensure that the party breaks the ‘8’ in the 2024 elections.
Perhaps someone will underrate me because of my position as a vendor, but l will also criticize that person because I am a qualified card bearer of the party, full of ideas and resourceful to lead the party, Ayensu hinted.
According to him he has found it prudent to contest for the race, win and engage in effective campaign that would ensure the resounding of the Npp in 2024.
Chairman Ayensu’s vision is also to continue the good policies and foundation that Nana Akuffo Addo has laid towards national development.
He described Akuffo Addo as the best president the country has ever got since the independence.
Stressing that he cannot afford to sit down for others to come and take over the governance and destroy the good policies and legacy which the president would leave them behind.
The vendor confidently stated that he is well prepared to secure his nomination forms and contest as the flagbearer of the Npp when the time is up.
He said the opposition National Democratic Congress is no match to him when he gets the mandate from the delegates to lead the party.
Mr Bismark Ayensu related that the secret of breaking the ‘8’ is in his pocket and assured Npp supporters to avoid panic and rely on him for victory when he gets the opportunity to lead the party.
Ayensu hinted that he is coming to redeem Ghanaians from economic crisis per his policies and that of the Nana Akuffo Addo’s when the power is transferred to him.
The prospective presidential hopeful of the Npp though hardly outlined all his strategies that he would use to transform the country when he gets the mandate to become the next president.
However he emphatically stated in clear terms that when he is given the power to become the next president, he would use his first 60 days to influence the advanced countries to write off Ghana’s debts.
Thereafter he would he would also use the same influence to attract external loans and investors to help build the economy.
If such agenda fails l will enforce deportation order and quit the foreign representatives, to ensure building our own economy through a positive and pragmatic policies to be adopted, Ayensu concluded.
