Kumasi, Ghana – A powerful testimony of faith and healing captivated the New Jerusalem Chapel at Kumasi Ampayoo on Saturday, December 28th, as a Ghanaian-born businesswoman, Maame Oforiwa, shared her extraordinary experience of how Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu had miraculously healed her family.

The congregation, gathered for a healing and baptism ceremony, was moved by Madam Oforiwa’s account of divine intervention in their lives.

Madam Foriwa, a resident of the United States, drew the attention of Bishop Adu to share her story. She recounted how her six-year-old daughter, and later her husband Mr Lewis, had been divinely healed through Bishop Adu’s ministry, despite being thousands of miles away in New York.

According to Madam Oforiwa, who hails from Asante Akyem Agogo in the Ashanti region, her daughter had been suffering from a mysterious and persistent condition that caused severe and continuous blood oozing. Despite numerous consultations with medical experts and countless hospital visits in the US, the child’s condition remained baffling and untreatable.

Despairing and losing hope, Madam Oforiwa was eventually introduced to Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu in Kumasi, Ghana.

Bishop Adu welcomed Madam Oforiwa with assurance that he could heal her daughter. He embarked on a spiritual intervention. To her utter amazement, the bleeding stopped instantly.

Maame Oforiwa was astounded by the healing. She further expressed doctors in the United States were equally stunned that a prophet in Ghana had managed to heal a condition that had defied their expertise.

But the healings did not stop there. Madam Oforiwa recounted a second ordeal. One day at work, she received the alarming news that her husband, Mr. Lewis, had choked on a bone while eating. After several days of struggling to remove the bone, which she suspected to be of spiritual nature, the family once again turned to Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu.

Through prayer and the intercession of his prayer warriors, the bone was miraculously removed.

Mr. Lewis was present at the church that day and confirmed his wife’s account, further solidifying the power of Bishop Adu’s ministry. He shared his own experience of the ordeal and, together with his wife and daughter, gave thanks to God for rescuing them from the “trap of Satan.”

He passionately encouraged those present to seek the ministry of the New Jerusalem Chapel, urging them to experience the “true power of God.” The testimony of Madam Oforiwa and her family stands as a powerful reminder of the role faith and divine healing can play in the lives of believers. It also highlights the work of Bishop Adu and the New Jerusalem Chapel, which has become a beacon of hope for many seeking spiritual and physical healing.
