Nana Kofi Nipa III Enstoololed As “Chief” Of KonkoosoTraditional Area.

The Asomakoma family of Wassa Konkooso has enstooled a new chief of Konkonso to run the affairs of the town.

The new chief known in private life as Mr. Kwame Oppong Kyekyeku, currently have a stool name as Nana Kofi Nipa III.

The installation ceremony of the new chief Nana Kofi Nipa III was performed by Nana Kwame Ampong Akro I and the people of Enyinabrem, Konkooso Traditional Counil in the Wassa Saamang Electoral Area of Amenfi East Municipal Assembly.

The impressive ceremony was aimed to honour the former gentleman Kwame Oppong Kyekyeku for his obedience, humbleness, hard work and contributions towards community development in his jurisdiction and beyond.

Claded in his traditional regalia, Nana Kofi Nipa III received thunderous cheers from his sympathizers who wished him well and sought the blessings of God upon him for successful rule.

The ceremony was also graced among others the Municipal Chief Executive of Wassa Amenfi East,Hon. Frederick Korankye (aka KK), NPP Party chairman for the area, Nana Kofi Amankwaah.

Other high profile personalities who also witnessed the august function include some top executive members of the New Patriotic Party members from the Amenfi East Constituency.

The MCE Hon. KK in his brief address, expressed joy for the honour done for Nana Kofi Nipa III.

He expressed the appreciation of the entire Asomakoma royal family to the Chief of Saamang Traditional Council, Nana Kwame Ampong Akro I and his Traditional Council for recognizing Nana Kofi Nipa III and entrusting him with such honourable responsibility. He said, his many contributions and dedication gave a facelift to the Konkooso for which he expressed optimism, that he would demonstrate same for the development of Wassa Konkooso.

The MCE called on the entire community to rally behind him to bring more developmental projects to Konkooso.

Present also at the ceremony were traditional leaders and elders from various parts of the Wassa Saamang Traditional Areas.
