Naspa Donates Sanitary Pads Amidst Educating School Children Against Teenage Pregnancy.
The Offinso Municipal branch of the National Service Personnel Association has donated sanitary pads, exercise books and pens to the Antoa Presbyterian primary and JHS respectively.
Asides the donations , the donors also took the opportunity to educate the students about the dangers that associated with teenage pregnancy and the need to discourage it.
The students were undertaken through the causes, effects and the possible solutions of children pregnancy as part of their service week celebrations.
Blessing Afriyie Agyekum on behalf of the girls praised the National Service personnel’s for their kind gestures toward them.
Mr Sampson Owusu who doubles as the headmaster of the primary and JHS of the schools was very impressed about what the NSS personnel’s did.
Mr Elvis Oduro who is the president of National Service Personnel Association of the Offinso Municipality explaining the rationale behind their gesture noted that females play a crucial role in national development hence they need to be supported and educated in their infanthood so that they would grow up to become a responsible citizens in the country..
