In an exclusive interview from Kumasi, Mr. Caesar Ofosu-Acheampong, the Parliamentary Candidate for the Offinso North constituency in the Ashanti region, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed unwavering confidence in his party’s imminent electoral victory, attributing it to the NDC’s array of human-centred policies.
With the upcoming elections approaching, he emphasizes that these policies resonate deeply with the Ghanaian populace and align with their aspirations for genuine change.
Mr. Caesar, who is known for his grassroots engagement and advocacy, argues that the current political climate in Ghana reflects widespread disenchantment with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). “Ghanaians are fed up with the NPP’s corrupt administration,” he declared, pointing to the “unprecedented challenges” facing the nation as evidence of the electorate’s desire for an alternative direction.
In his view, the NDC embodies that alternative, as they offer a vision for leadership that prioritizes the welfare of all citizens.
The candidate highlighted that the NDC’s human-centred approaches focus on improving the lives of individuals and communities, making a compelling case for why voters should unite behind their vision. “From what is happening in the country, Ghanaians can serve as their own judges to determine which political party truly has the interests of the country and its citizens at heart,” he stated.
This sentiment reflects a growing consensus among the youth and disenfranchised groups who yearn for a change that transcends mere political rhetoric.
As Mr. Caesar Ofosu-Acheampong campaigns throughout the Offinso North constituency, he notes the palpable enthusiasm and expectation of change within the grassroots movements. He maintains that the NDC’s policies—crafted with the input of diverse community voices—can indeed transform lives and uplift the marginalized. he reiterated,
“The grassroots have understood the good policies that could transform their lives,” suggesting that a fundamental shift in governance is not only plausible but inevitable if citizens actively participate in the electoral process.
Acknowledging the integral role of voter engagement, Mr. Caesar Ofosu-Acheampong urged Ghanaians to demonstrate their commitment to change by heading to the polls on Election Day. “I charge every voter to remain resolute and peacefully cast their votes,” he urged.
The NDC’s commitment to “total change and prosperity for the people” is a call to action resonating across the constituency, reinforcing the idea that political power derives from the will of the people.
