Ndc stalwart urges party to uphold Rawlings legacy of probity and accountability

Kofi Moshi, a prominent member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency, has emphasized the crucial need for the party to consistently uphold the legacy of the late Flt Lt John Jerry Rawlings, particularly his principles of probity and accountability.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Moshi stressed that maintaining these values is paramount as the NDC seeks to prove its commitment to the welfare of Ghanaians and its ability to transform the nation.

Moshi lauded the party’s recent successes, attributing them to the public’s growing trust in the NDC’s ability to govern effectively. He stated that Ghanaians, having witnessed the party’s leadership since the Rawlings era, recognize the NDC as a reliable alternative for their progress and well-being.
This, he argued, is directly connected to the foundation laid by Rawlings.

“Our victory is a testament to the faith Ghanaians have in the NDC, a faith rooted in the legacy of probity and accountability that Rawlings championed,” Moshi said. “Therefore, it is absolutely vital that we, as members of the NDC, especially those in positions of power, conduct ourselves in a manner that reflects these core principles.”

He specifically called upon all NDC supporters and office holders to comport themselves with integrity, emphasizing that this is critical to ensuring the party’s continued success and the successful implementation of their vision for Ghana.

“We are a distinguished party, poised to serve Ghanaians with truth and dedication,” Moshi declared. “Let us not forget the foundation upon which we stand. Let us diligently maintain the legacy of probity and accountability so that our actions consistently demonstrate our commitment to the people.”

Moshi’s statements serve as a reminder of the enduring influence of Flt Lt John Jerry Rawlings on the NDC and the critical importance of upholding the values he espoused as the party seeks to lead the nation forward.
