A section of supporters and opinion leaders within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are voicing out their discontent over what they perceive as the neglect of dedicated members particularly Mr Takyi Addo, Head of Communications at the Abossey Okai spare parts Dealers Association in government appointment.
,The supporters in an separate interviews are urging President John Dramani Mahama to prioritize the appointment of Takyi Addo and other individuals they say were instrumental in securing the party’s victory in the 2024 elections.
The aggrieved supporters argue that despite the NDC’s electoral success, many deserving members who tirelessly campaigned for the party’s victory have been denied employment.
They specifically highlighted the contributions of Mr Takyi Addo by expressing their disappointment that he has yet to receive an appointment from the government.
It is very unfortunate that the Co-founder of the Ghana Federation of Traders/ Ghana Auto Dealers Association’s Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) and current Head of Communications of the Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association, Mr Takyi Addo who has worked relentlessly to ensure the progress of the party, has still not been given any appointment, one supporter stated.
The supporters further criticized the continued presence of members of the ousted New Patriotic Party (NPP) in certain government offices.
They argued that these positions should be filled by the dedicated members of the Ndc who contributed to the party’s success in the 2024 elections.

The supporters emphasized that Mr Takyi Addo’s extensive efforts during the 2024 campaign showed that he dedicated himself to the aspirations of the Ndc constitution to ensure the party’s victory which for sure has come to pass.
The supporters are therefore calling on President Mahama to consider appoint Mr Takyi Addo and other deserving members whose struggle in the 2024 elections deserve rewards.

The supporters further issued a passionate appeal to the President and his appointment Committee urging them to ensure that deserving members are appointed to enable them contribute their quota towards national development.
