Npp delegates advised against financial influence in the upcoming party’s elections.
Commenting on the upcoming elections of the presidential candidates race of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Albert Oppong who claims to be a sympathizer of Kennedy Agyepong, one of the presidential hopefuls has advised the delegates to reject financial enticements from the candidates.
Instead he is admonishing the delegates to open their eyes and access the the candidate who fits for the post and vote massively for him to lead the party towards ‘breaking 8’ in the 2024 elections.
Speaking to the correspondent in an interview Oppong reiterated that the 2024 elections would be a crucial one since the opposition National Democratic Congress is poised to use all means to wrestle power from the Npp.
Oppong hinted that it is based on this reason hence he is urging the delegates to avoid financial influence from any source, and instead, study the background of the contestants and vote a right candidate to lead the party.
The Npp stalwart opined that in elections like this, all the presidential hopefuls would anticipate to chalk victory and that they would do everything possible to entice the delegates to vote for them.
The attempts of receiving monies and vote for a wrong candidate can cause the party, therefore for the avoidance of been defeated by the Ndc in the 2024 elections, hence my humble appeal to the delegates to vote for the right candidate to enhance the winning chances of the New Patriotic Party in2024, Oppong concluded.
