Office of the Special Prosecutor Considering Action On Pastor’s Corruption Charges Against Oti Regional GES Director.
A letter which our crack investigators have intercepted indicates that the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has acknowledged receipt of a petition letter written by an Accra based renowned Prophet, Very Rev Prophet Anthony Kwarteng against the Oti Regional Director of the Ghana Education Service on alleged corruption charges.
According to the contents of the OSP’s response, the outfit is studying the contents of the petition and get back to the man of God on whether or when the investigations would take place.
The letter was signed by the OSP boss, Mr. Kissi Agyabeng.
According to sources close to the OSP, Very Rev Prophet Anthony Kwarteng’s petition allegedly accused the Oti Regional Director of the Ghana Education Service Nana Kugbeadzor-Bakateyi II of having embezzled huge sums of monies that government channelled to her outfit to execute project works within the education sector in the region.
The pastor further alleged that the Director have been using an autocratic leadership style in her administration, thereby creating uncomfortable atmosphere within the students and section of the workforce of the Ghana Education Service in the region.
