Old students donate 100 pieces of plastic chairs to support SDA Nursing And Midwifery Training College in Kumasi.

The 2012 year batch group of the Seventh Day Adventist Nursing And Midwifery Training College (also known as ADN 5 batch) on Wednesday July 12, 2023 presented 100 pieces of plastic chairs to the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Nursing and Midwifery Training College at Kwadaso, Kumasi in the Ashanti region to help support the development of the school.

The motive behind the gesture was also to ensure maintain quality teaching and learning among the school authorities and the students.

Presenting the items the leader of the group (ADN batch 5) Mr Jefferson Asare Danquah who also doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of PRESCOTT MEDICAL CENTER expressed the group’s gratitude for supporting the school for teaching and shaping their lives to become what they are today.

He made a passionate appeal to other year groups and former students to come to the aid of the school since in his opinion, one head cannot make a council and also unity is strength.

Additionally, he charged the students to take their studies seriously even when they are confronted with some challenges in the areas like financial, physical, emotional or, psychological.

On his part, Mr. Daniel Atta Tufour, principal of the SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College upon receiving the donation, thanked the old students for their kind gesture.

He urged them to keep it up, and showered them with the blessings of God for exhibiting good behavior for promoting the image of the school.

The Principal outlined some major challenges that have been confronting the school as among others as inadequate classrooms, accommodation, computers, demonstrative laboratory equipment, and called on the benevolent organizations to come to their aid.

The College currently having a population strength of 2150, Mr. Tufour exhorted the students to focus attention on their books to ensure that they pas their examinations and go out to work and become good assets for the country.
