OTUMFOUR CAUTIONS CHIEFS AGAINST INDISCRIMINATE SALES OF LANDS.
His Royal Majesty, Otumfour Osei Tutu II has cautioned chiefs in the Asanteman Traditional Council against indiscriminate sales of lands in the traditional council.
According to him, some of the chiefs use their ultimate power on multiple sales of lands which has brought some conflict among others in the traditional council.
He said the act is against the laws of the stool lands.
Otumfour’s assertion came to limelight during the enstoolment program of four paramount chiefs in the traditional council.
The four paramount chiefs were;Nsutamanhene(Nana kwaku Quarm),Abuotem manhene,Kyerepater3 manhene, and Kwaman manhene.
Otumfuor said, chiefs have been given the ultimate powers to protect the properties and life’s of his people but not to cause harm to his servants.
