Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visited a traditional authority and a royal home and a libation is poured to welcome him.
This is done for any political leader who visits our traditional authorities or royal homes. It is part of our culture.
Sam George and his NDC friends cannot fathom why Dr. Bawumia would visit the royal home and libation is poured as a welcoming gesture.
They say he is a Muslim and, therefore, has desecrated the religion he aligns himself with. A Muslim, they say, should not be seen in such an environment.
I wonder how these people reason. This is so strange a position to advance because we are a united society with different religions backgrounds. We have been living in harmony despite our religious differences.
Look at this picture. Grandma Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang can be seen pouring the libation herself. It was not poured for her, she did the pouring herself. She is a Christian. Has she desecrated Christianity by pouring the libation?
When will these NDC elements allow logical reasoning to be a part of their system? Folks, just take a look at this picture in which Grandma is seen pouring libation.
