Information reaches this popular website from Kumasi indicates that one of the renowned Npp stalwart Mr Philip Kwadwo Amoah has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Communications Direcctor in the Kwadaso Constituency.
In Amoah’s statement to the press of which we have taken possession of a copy, Amoah a Communication Team Member of the Ashanti Npp is ready to contest for the position when the electoral process towards the 2028 is duly announced.
My decision also followed by consultations and preparedness to strengthen the party through my communications skills, Amoah noted.
We publish below his unedited statement for attention.
As we enter a new paradigm of renewed responsibility and democratic commitment, I wish to formally state my readiness, in principle and subject to due process, to contest for the position of Kwadaso Constituency Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) when the relevant electoral processes are duly announced.
This decision follows careful reflection and the encouragement received through consultations with party members, sympathisers, and other relevant stakeholders who recognise the importance of strengthening the Party’s communication capacity.
As a writer, team player and communications practitioner, I understand the central role of discipline, credible, and forward-looking communication in deepening party–citizen engagement, countering misinformation, and articulating the NPP’s vision for Ghana’s development.
I stand prepared to offer my service in this regard, in the collective interest of the Party and the Republic.
