Popular Kumasi businessman charges SDA elders to consider using mobile clinics to win souls for Christ.
A member of the Seventh Day Adventist in Kumasi, Mr Joesph Mensah popularly known as Nana Mandela has stressed the need for the General Secretary and for that matter the elders of the church to take a second look about the challenging health issues in the country and introduce mobile clinics to compliment government efforts at accomplishing the health delivery system across the country.
In an interview with the correspondent, Nana Mandela a celebrated businessman in Kumasi suggested that the mobile clinics when introduced would contribute in no small measure for the church to win souls for Christ. as Christ.
Let us use mobile clinics in Ghana, starting from Afram plains and later expand to other areas, Mandela pointed out.
Nana Mandela observed that the Seventh Day Adventist can treat and at the same time envangelise to the people so that the church can win souls for the Lord.
According to the Adventist member, there are many places in Ghana without hospitals, and that the church can subsidise the government efforts by doing this mobile clinics across the country.
Nana Mandela indicated that the mobile clinics agenda can be possible, in that if you ask any true Adventist to contribute to this noble idea, majority will agree to pay at least 50 Cedis per head and it will convince our brothers and sisters abroad too to come to our aid.
Our mandate as christians are to help disseminate the message to go to the hinterlands through the introduction of the mobile clinics in Ghana and stop showing off in the big cities, Nana pointed out.
For Nana Mandela he hardly agrees with the SDA church elders by contributing 2 billion cedis to the National Cathedral project for two reasons.
He firstly mentioned that the elders never consulted the church members before this donation, and secondly the church worships on Saturdays which is the 7th day of the week that is God’s SABBATH.
Stressing that the Mobile Clinics which will help every one who needs help and healing as Christ was doing during His time on sabbath days are absent and questioned why.
He said. when Jesus was on earth He went to every village to heal people and preach to them about the good news as well.
Mandela asked about what is Sda members have been doing as Adventists insisting that it is time the church should stop showing off to the government to recognise the church.
We need to do God’s work and stop praising government by giving donations that have no mandate from the entire congregation, Nana Mandela concluded.
