In his quest to resetting this nation; he has not limited himself to the economy alone but also bringing the broken pieces of this country’s history together to be able to connect us again as a nation.
His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has come to align himself that all pieces will be join together under his leadership and this underlined principles has been effective as the result dedicated and genuine people around him who mean serious to help reset this nation.
Hon. Elvis Afiriyie Ankrah, Hon. P. V Jantuah Boateng Dadson, Prophet Akwasi Agyemang Prempeh and Alhaji Mohammed were under the instruction of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to search for those carved the Hwedom ( The Presidential Seat of the Fourth Republic of Ghana ).
The team work tirelessly for almost a week to find Agya Akwasi Agyei and Kwaku Appiah from Sekyere South in Ashanti Region, who dedicated their tirelessly efforts and commitments to had this magnificent edifice of National identity for this country.
This significant step is to reviving an important yet long-neglected part of Ghana’s history.
Hon. P. V. Jantuah and other Team members lead President Mahama to meet the artisans who originally carved the Hwɛdom—the Presidential Seat of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. This historic meeting served to acknowledge their remarkable craftsmanship and contributions to the nation’s identity.
Responding to a call to bridge this long-standing gap, Hon. P. V. Jantuah took the initiative to restore honor to these artisans, who had been disregarded for years. Their contributions to Ghana’s history had gone unrecognized, but under President Mahama’s leadership, steps have been taken to correct this oversight.
By reconnecting the Hwɛdom to its creators, President Mahama has ensured that their legacy is properly documented and preserved in the annals of Ghana’s history. His administration is committed to recognizing and celebrating them and all those who have played a role in shaping the nation’s heritage.
The individuals seen in these pictures are the original craftsmen who carved the Hwɛdom for Ghana—a contribution that had long been forgotten until the leadership of President Mahama restored its rightful place in the country’s history.
