CMD congratulates H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the president elect of Ghana for his overwhelming election victory.
We have also noted with anger the recent trashing of RICHARD DELA SKY’s petition questioning the constitutionality of the proposed anti gay bill from parliament introduced to end the practice of LGBTQI+ in Ghana and CMD condemns same without any reservation for the wrong time the judiciary brought it out.
In a similar twist of events The judiciary had earlier played around president akufo addo’s unconstitutional dismissal of Mr Yaw Domelevo the then Auditor General of Ghana until when the verdict was useless and unbenefitial to the state and the interest of the citizens before they brought out the verdict.
The action of the judiciary is based on attempts to redeem their LONG LOST neutrality, independence and credibility of the good people of Ghana based on their subverted and misjudgments, but the singular fact remains that, the judiciary has long chosen to work for the interest of president Akufo addo and the few members of the Executive instead of being fair, neutral, independent and working in the best interest of the state and Ghanaians.
The verdict released now should have long been released assuming the judiciary had the interest of the state and citizens at heart.
It is the honest view of CMD that, the recent verdict was not released based on the merit and evidence of it, but to confuse Ghanaians into thinking that the judiciary has been neutral and fair in the face of the law, constitution and the interest of the citizens, which is not the case.
On the contrary, since president akufo addo who is well known by most Ghanaians as “The Mother Serpent Of Corruption” or “The Corruption Clearing Agent” took over the reigns as president, nothing has ever worked well, from the judiciary, the electoral commission, National Security and the investigation agencies had never functioned effectively and CMD wants to place that on record.
The president boldly and publicly defended AKUNTA MINING Company belonging to the ruling npp’s Ashanti regional chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako when earth moving machines belonging to him were arrested in the forest destroying our forest cover and water bodies. He so declared that “Akunta Mining is not engaged in any illegal mining” or words to that effect.
We condemn the hypocritical verdict insensitively released at a transitional period in no uncertain terms when they could have done that much earlier if they had an iota of patriotism, national and citizens interest at heart. CMD is therefore very disappointed for the total failure of the judiciary and wants to place same on record.
The electoral commission has also unconstitutionally and illegally declared recollation of some already declared parliamentary seats, and that alone led to vandalism of some state and private properties leading to some few regrettable loses of innocent lives. CMD fully condemns the lawless acts of the jezebel jean mensah led EC.
CMD condemns the unprofessional, illegal and unconstitutional acts of the jezebel jean mensah led electoral commission in no uncertain terms for causing the needless deaths of innocent citizens and destruction of state and private properties. CMD urges Ghanaians to fully put the blame at the doorstep of jean mensah and EC for sanctioning a recollation that is not supported and backed by law and electoral processes.
We therefore seriously calls on H.E. John Mahama the president elect to, as a matter of urgency and in line with his RESET GHANA Agenda, totally OVERHAUL the judiciary, the electoral commission and the security agencies to function in the interest of the state and Ghanaians, instead of working for the benefit of the president and only a few Executive members.
Finally, CMD congratulates once again the president elect for the victory and persuades him to consider our plea for total overhaul of the failed state institutions which already falls in shape with the RESET GHANA AGENDA of his coming government.
