President Mahama’s assertion of being homeless after his first term is a deliberate exaggeration intended to mislead the uninformed citizens of Ghana.
Throughout his career, President Mahama held numerous esteemed positions, including Member of Parliament, Deputy Minister, Minister, Vice President, and he has familial ties to one of Ghana’s wealthiest individuals.
Given the extensive opportunities and benefits he has accrued during his leadership, it is highly improbable that he could be homeless. Furthermore, his tenure was marred by allegations of kickbacks and other corrupt activities, raising concerns about the authenticity of his assertion.
Such a statement is misleading and dishonest. Considering the numerous opportunities and benefits he has received, it is questionable why he would seek to tarnish the country’s reputation by making such an exaggerated claim.
In the meantime, I extend my best wishes to the nurses, teachers, and judicial service staff who are owed salary arrears. May they have a prosperous and fulfilling new year under the reset Agenda which has made them poorer
