Prophecies have become a common feature in Ghana’s political space, with many believed to have come to pass over the years. In a recent live session on social media before his congregation, Prophet Jesus Ahoufe shared a fresh prophecy concerning the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2028 general elections.
According to the prophet, the NPP will remain in opposition for a long time unless a specific young man from the Ashanti Region emerges as the party’s presidential candidate. He told his church members that without this young leader, the NPP has no chance of returning to power.
Prophet Jesus Ahoufe, whose real name is Stephen Akwasi Appiah, further declared that neither Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia nor Kennedy Agyapong would be able to lead the NPP back into government. He emphasized that God is preparing a special individual within the party for a divine purpose in the country’s politics.
God is doing something unusual, and it will soon be revealed. There is a young man within the NPP who must rise for the party to regain power. Dr. Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong won’t be the ones to make it happen, the prophet stated.
Prophet Stephen Akwasi Appiah, popularly known as Jesus Ahoufe, is the founder and leader of New Life Kingdom Chapel International and is regarded as one of Ghana’s influential prophetic voices.
