Former editor of the defunct Ghanaian Platform Newspaper, Mr David King Amoah has stressed the need for the leader of the Npp led Akuffo Addo government to recognize the former hardworking president John Dramani Mahama as the potential and possible incoming President, and stop backing his cohort Vice president Bawumia who has lost popularity with Ghanaians.
Speaking to the correspondent in an interview, King Amoah alleged that Akuffo Addo is firmly behind Bawumia in his political ambition to become the next president after his ( Addo’s) exit.
I believe Bawumia the digitization man lacks quality to manage the country, the journalist observed, and queried about any achievements Bawumia has scored for the country in his capacity as a second in command of the country.
King Amoah a renowned investigative journalist of the Npp’s “1992 Stolen Verdict” fame was very critical on why the ‘booklong’ stalwarts of the Npp have allowed Bawumia to contest in Npp presidential race whereas they know that he cannot perform when the mandate is given to him.
What is Bawumia who have been in a failed government have for Ghanaians or is he coming to use magic wand to reverse the decline economy, he asked.
According to King Amoah we live in a country where people fear to speak the truth, insisting that Nana Akuffo Addo is aware that he is preparing his handover note to
transfer power to John Dramani Mahama in January 2025.
It is a clear vision that’s why I am imploring the president to start Jubilate ahead of Mahama’s Advance victory.
