Residents Call For Help Over Bad Road Networks.
The Residents of Nsata Kofi Asare have passionately appealed to the government to come to their aid by a way of fixing their deplorable road network which links from Owura Paul Junction to Nsata Kofi Asare in the Adansi South District in the Ashanti region.
According to the residents of the area, mostly cocoa farmers the deplorable state of the road are creating a lot of impediments in their farming activities.
Reports said the situation was created by a Timber Contractor known as Burger who says he has given the road to a contract,yet there is no signs showing that somebody is working on the deplorable road.
The residents indicated that as a result of the damaging nature of the road, commercial vehicles hardly plies on the road, a situation which they complained, have affected the cocoa buying companies to come over and buy their cocoa beans.
We have to employ the service of Aboboyaa to transport our cocoa produce to the New Edubiase-Cape Coast main road at a higher fee before it can be transported to the final destination, the farmers indicated.
We are really suffering from this road challenges, hence our humble appeal to the government for timely intervention.
The Timber Contractor, Burger was not immediately available for his side comments on the story at the time of going to press.
