Residents of Mpraeso Ntuntuo-Agya cry for footbridge.
Residents of Kwahu Mpraeso, Ntuntuo-Agya are crying for footbridge to enable them cross the stream in their area.
The area is a suburb of Kwahu Mpraeso in the Kwahu South Municipality of the Eastern region.
And they are passionately appealing to the authorities for the construction of a footbridge to help them cross a river in their area which always overflows its banks when there is a downpour.
Speaking to Atinka news, the residents expressed their disappointment that though a good samaritan, one Otis Morgloh tried to fix the bridge, yet it was not completed,as the problem remained unsolved.
Through the difficulties we are undergoing through to have access to development projects, we have appealed to the volunteer, Otis Morgloh to stand for the position of an Assembly member here so that we would vote for him to champion our cause, the residents told the correspondent
Speaking to Otis
Morgloh, he explained that he is also a resident and knows the problems of the area especially the challenges confronting the school children and the aged.
He assured that he is ready to contest future elections at the District Assembly level as they have given him the assurance to do so.
