In a powerful and soul stirring sermon, Senior Apostle Abraham Appiakorang, the esteemed founder and leader of Accra based Victory Zion Ministry (My Father’s Temple), has delivered a profound message of hope and liberation to those grappling with life’s overwhelming challenges.
Addressing individuals on the cusp of despair, Apostle Appiakorang’s sermon, titled “With the Power of Christ, Condemnation Will Not Be Your Portion,” served as a beacon of light, resonating deeply with a world often burdened by hardship.
Drawing his core message from the liberating words of Romans 8:1, the revered man of God focused on the unassailable freedom accorded to all who believe in Christ Jesus, emphasizing why such belief places them firmly beyond the reach of condemnation.
The scripture, which reads: “There’s therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not in the flesh but after the Spirit,” formed the bedrock of his impactful address.
As part of his monthly e – sermon disseminated across various social media channels, Apostle Appiakorang urged all those overwhelmed by life’s pressures to embrace the ushering in of September as a fresh start.
He passionately encouraged believers to “rise up in the name of Jesus Christ and think that condemnation has no portion of your life if Christ is behind you.”
Acknowledging the myriad struggles believers face, the Senior Apostle empathized with those battling unemployment, financial distress, barrenness, persistent sickness, travel complications, among other common challenges.
“Sometimes you may be facing job, financial, barrenness, travelling sickness among other challenges,” he stated, advising listeners to “just put such problems upon Christ and relax and expect your miracles in this month of September.”
The man of God cited numerous instances from scripture, highlighting the challenges that confronted the Israelites.
He reminded his listeners that when Israelites humbled themselves before God, they invariably overcame their problems.
Posing a rhetorical yet profound question, the clergyman asked, “What problems are beyond God?”
He stressed that the individual’s “simple task is to believe in His name and expect your freedom.”
In a direct and prophetic declaration, Apostle Appiakorang addressed the ultimate despair: “Today I prophesy unto your life to stop committing suicide or any evil because of your problems.
Mind you that God is able to rescue you from every problem so don’t allow Satan to take your life for granted.”
He acknowledged the reality of temptations on earthly life, stating, “temptations are though exist whilst we live on this earth,” but quickly followed with the reassuring truth that “the Almighty God has solutions to all.
He empowered his audience, urging them to be on yourself and conquer your enemies through faith and divine support.
Concluding the powerful session, Senior Apostle Appiakorang extended his prayers for the nation, seeking God’s prosperity and protection for Ghana.
He emphasized the importance of unity among the citizenry to foster progress and move the country forward, reinforcing his message of hope and divine intervention for both individual lives and the collective well being of the nation.
