Shocker: Kennedy Agyapong exposes Okyehene and Atta Akyea in a luxurious $ 500,000.00 house deal

Controversial Ghanaian politician and outspoken businessman, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has once again stirred public debate following explosive claims involving private legal practitioner and politician, Atta Akyea.

According to Ken Agyapong, he personally purchased a luxurious house worth $500,000 for Atta Akyea, only for the property to later be rented out without his consent, allegedly generating $4,000 monthly rent that was pocketed by Akyea.

Speaking during a public engagement, Ken Agyapong recounted what he described as a deep betrayal by someone he once supported wholeheartedly.

He explained that the decision to buy the house was driven by goodwill and loyalty at a time when Atta Akyea was facing personal and professional challenges.

According to him, the house was meant to serve as accommodation for Akyea, not as an income-generating asset.

However, Ken Agyapong claimed that he later discovered the property had been rented to the Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, with the rent allegedly being collected privately.

He stated that the monthly rent of about $4,000 was never accounted for or shared, a development he says left him shocked and disappointed.

Ken Agyapong used the opportunity to caution the public, especially young politicians and businesspeople, about blind loyalty and misplaced generosity.

He stressed that while helping others is important, one must also exercise wisdom and accountability.

According to him, such experiences have shaped his tough stance on integrity and transparency in both politics and personal relationships.

The claims have sparked intense discussion on social media and in political circles, with many Ghanaians expressing mixed reactions.

While some sympathized with Ken Agyapong, others called for restraint and urged that such matters be handled privately rather than aired in public.

A section of the public has also called on Atta Akyea to respond to the allegations to clarify his side of the story.

So far, Atta Akyea has not publicly addressed the claims, leaving room for speculation and debate.

As is often the case with Ken Agyapong’s revelations, the issue has reignited conversations about trust, generosity, and accountability among Ghana’s political elite.

Whether the matter will escalate further or be resolved quietly remains to be seen.

For now, the allegations add another chapter to Ghana’s ever-dramatic political discourse, reminding the public that behind the scenes, personal relationships often intersect sharply with power and money.
