Soldiers dismissed over alleged leaked information on Kevin Taylor – Rev Ntim Fordjour

Reverend John Ntim Fordjour, Ranking Member of Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee, has disclosed that military personnel assigned to protect U.S.-based Ghanaian journalist Kevin Taylor have been dismissed for allegedly leaking sensitive information.

The Assin South MP claims the soldiers were removed based on suspicion by their superiors, without solid evidence.

This revelation follows public speculation around Kevin Taylor’s quiet return to Ghana. Ntim Fordjour previously alleged that Taylor is being housed at the Vice President’s official residence, a claim that has intensified political tensions.

The dismissals have raised serious concerns about due process and fairness within the military.

Fordjour has demanded the reinstatement of the affected soldiers and called for a full investigation into the circumstances leading to their termination.

He argues that the soldiers were only performing their duties and should not be punished without proof of misconduct.

The situation has fueled ongoing debates about transparency, political interference in security matters, and the rights of military personnel.

The parliamentary minority continues to push for answers, emphasizing the need for accountability and fair treatment in the armed forces.
