In a spirited defense of their party’s legacy, supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region have vehemently condemned claims made by Kwabena Nsenkyire, the former 1st Vice Chairman of the Ashanti Regional branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Nsenkyire’s assertion that the NDC failed to complete any projects during its tenure in the region has been met with widespread outrage and denouncement from party faithful.
Kwaku Appiah, a dedicated member of the NDC from the Kwabre East constituency, led the charge against Nsenkyire’s allegations, labeling them as “outrageous fabrications” intended to tarnish the hard-earned reputation of the NDC.
“Such statements are not only misleading but also a blatant attempt to distort the truth about our accomplishments in the Ashanti Region,” Appiah asserted at a recent rally aimed at rallying support among party members.

“If one looks at the progress made under the NDC, it is clear that we have laid down the foundations for sustainable growth in this region,” they added.
Despite the claims from Nsenkyire, supporters of the NDC are resolute in their belief that the achievements of their party during its governance are unparalleled and should not be obscured by political rhetoric.
