Take stronger measures to save our environment – clergy to gov’t.

Founder and leader of Mo Mary Fellowship sited at Kumasi Ampayoo in the Ashanti region, Rev David Armstrong has charged Ghanaians to wake and defend the country’s environmental challenges.

In an interview with the correspondent, the man of God noted that until government speeds up measures to bring environmental pollutants to book, the country would experience worst things in the next five years to come.

Rev David Armstrong observed that when one critically looks into the issues of sanitation and environment in the country, especially in the Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi regions respectively, the answer to our environmental challenges are questionable.

This is because less attention is taken against the environmental pollutants to chicken out from their unlawful acts.

The clergy urged the Akuffo Addo’s administration to rise up to its mandate and ensure that the laws that boarding on sanitation and environment are rigorously enforced for the benefit of the country.

The man of God also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources for coming out with a policy that focus to address the challenges that confront the country in terms of environmental issues.

Taking the necessary action against Akwasi Macaiah Addai who strongly believes in polygamy, the source pointed out.
