Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr, Head Pastor of the Association of Seventh Day Pentecostal Assemblies in Kumasi, Ashanti Region has indicated that the strength and progress of human existence are not diminished by the rise of false prophets and their threats in the society.

Instead he stressed the true success and breakthroughs that emerge from the commitment to righteousness.

Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr made the statement when he was speaking to journalists at the church’s annual general meeting which was held from December 31st, 2025 to January 3rd 2026 under the theme: We Are More Than Conquerors.

The well attended program attracted 24 branch churches across the country, traditional leaders and other dignitaries.

Elder Ofori Jnr highlighted that prosperity and divine protection are attainable realities when individuals shun antisocial vices and embrace a life of uprightness as God favors those who detest sin.

While he acknowledged the pervasive presence of false prophets who seek to distort God’s message, Elder Ofori Jnr reassured that God’s unchangeable word and creation offer a stable foundation.

He spoke against the negative attitudes of self-styled prophets, stating that prioritizing righteousness can effectively neutralize the impact of the threatening prophecies.

Righteousness he said could guide everyone towards glory, fruitfulness and ultimate victory.

To illustrate his point Elder Ofori Jnr referenced the scriptural account of King Hezekiah, whose prophecy of death was reversed by God after he cried out onto God who gave him an additional 15 years of life and reign.

This Biblical precedent he disclosed underscores the transformative power of a righteous lifestyle and a genuine hatred for sin.

He encouraged Ghanaians to treat false prophecies with disdain as he likened righteousness to light that inherently have dominion over darkness which he described it as evil.

Turning his attention to the realm of technology Elder Ofori Jnr acknowledged its progressive nature and its capacity to support society.

However he drew a parallel between the misuse of God’s word by false prophets and the misapplication of technology.

Just as some exploit technology for fraudulent activities and other unholy practices by negating its potential for good, so too do individuals tarnish the image of God through their actions.

Elder Ofori Jnr strongly advised people to be cautious about those who wrongfully use both the Bible and technology for purposes that are not acceptable in the society.

The Elder in his conclusion urged those who pretend to be Angels of light to change over a new leaf and contribute their quota towards economic development as we usher in a new year which is a new chapter for everyone to to take stock of his past towards transformation.

Stay tuned for more reports from the program.
