The Claim That Ghana Is A Christian Country Is A Fallacy – Pastor Acheampong.

The Area pastor of the Kumasi Sepe Buokrom branch of the Church of Christ, Pastor Francis Acheampong has alleged that the claim that Ghana is a christian country is not true.

He said though it is true that christians in the country constitute nearly 70% in population wise, nothing shows that Christians are doing the right thing to move the country forward.

Preaching at a Kumasi based privately owned radio station, Agyenkwa FM on Saturday evening March 18,2023 on a topic, “Antisocial Vices – A Canker In The Society,” and monitored by the Correspondent, Pastor Acheampong expressed worry about rate in which antisocial vices tends to have taken control in the society.

The clergy lamented that the country has nearly 70 percentage of population been christians in addition to moslems whom all focus attention on righteousness to ensure peaceful coexistence to develop the country.

The man of God said christians and others tag themselves as transformers who are controlled by the spirit of God to do the right thing, their claims tend to be counterfeit.

He alleged that christians are the worst offenders in the country.

He said they use the holy scriptures as a cover to commit sins against their fellow human beings.

These attitudes he observed has caused the country to such an extent that nobody, even the president is not happy because the land mourns as a result of corruption and other harms cause to ourselves.

A person who claims to be a christian can be seen at the market indulging in profiteering, public officer using pen to insert ledger accounts, inflating costs of inventory, taking bribes before job offer among others, but they hardly forget about the negative impact that their actions would have in the society.

Christians in the country, Pastor Acheampong alleged have virtually turned to be criminals using all forms of tricks to steal to enrich themselves without fear the Bibles they hold which is the word of God.

The clergy said what se ems surprising is that after allegedly stolen monies from their workplaces they turned to dish out the stolen monies as offering in the churches.

The pastor advised that no one needs to blame anybody about the current state the country finds itself because if we believe that we are true christians we would imitate the lifestyle of Christ to build a happy and solid nation.

To reverse the trend, Pastor Acheampong charged Ghanaians to turn over a new leaf and change their mindset for the forgiveness of sins since God is ready to transform the country.
