Three persons who allegedly claimed to be officials from the Ghana Education Service are on the run after collecting an amount of Gh¢4,300 from a female teacher under the pretext of helping her to gain transfer to another school.

Madam Doris, a teacher who teaches in the Savannah region had sought to transfer from the area to the Ashanti Region.

According to her, Mrs. Agnes Adobea and Agnes Okyere who work at Kyenkyebiase M/A school in the Konogo Central, who met her during the process offered to help her, under a condition that she pays the aforementioned amount.

The desperate Doris who entrusted the educationists quickly paid the Gh¢4,300 to them.

This was when the two Agnes Adobes and Agnes Okyere had introduced one Isaac Opoku whom they claimed was working at the GES office in Accra to her.

Doris said, the trio also mentioned some top officials who had hands in the deal.

Sadly for her, the all the three persons directly involved in the tranfer deal have since blocked her (Doris) number and are currently on the run.

Teacher Doris having no alternative is however seeking for assistance from the security agencies and other stakeholders to come to her aid to arrest the three culprits for action.

She told the correspondent that she went for loans before she was able to pay for the money the three culprits charged her.

According to her, they have subsequently blocked her and have since gone into hiding.

She is therefore appealing to the Ghana Education Service to be warily of such persons since according to her, they are numerous in the system.

“I’m not the only person who has suffered this fate, there are many of these people who are always able to associate themselves with some big names in the Service and this makes them look very authentic”Doris reiterated.

Madam Doris who has lost all hopes and is been hit by the debt is seriously seeking for assistance from the security to track down the offenders for action.
