We Are Ready To Discard The Npp In The 2024 Elections – Npp Traders.

The unfolding economic challenges in the society tends to be relic of an ugly era, yet information reaches this website suggests that the canker would remain among the rank and file of politicians, especially the stalwarts of the Npp for a very long time to come.

And at the Bantama market in Kumasi, a sizeable number of traders who claim to be supporters of the ruling Npp have registered their protest against the Npp led Akuffo Addo’s administration.

The traders said they have regretted for voting for their own party (Npp) into power just to punish them after winning power.

Maame Akosua Mansa a tomatoes seller recounted the ordeal that some security guards from the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly have been allegedly undertaken her through, making her to incur heavy debts.

She said these guards seized some boxes of her tomatoes during three of their unannounced operations at the market, adding that she was asked to pay an undisclosed sum of money before goods could be released her.

I couldn’t raised the amount to pay for the cash they demanded so they kept the tomatoes for the reasons known to themselves, she hinted.

Another Npp trader Comfort Adjei also spoke about how some Npp known security guards have been continuously harassing and extorting monies from the traders at the Bantama market.

Joyce Frimpomaah said some of the traders have made their predicaments known to the media about the ordeals the KMA guards have been undertaking them (traders) through but the Mayor has since failed to respond.

We are fed up with the Npp and we don’t think we will entertain the party in the 2024 general elections, an aggrieved second cloth dealer Margry Ampong told the Correspondent.
