Believing strongly that the former president John Dramani Mahama Is the only alternative source who can transform the economy, a
joint union of motorcycle operators, spare parts dealers and some driver unions over the weekend stormed the office of the former President to declare their support for his candidature in the upcoming flagbearer elections of the NDC.
The group, assigned their reasons to the fact that the state of the economy needs a leader who has the track record of solving the current excruciating economic crisis in the country.
They opined that former President Mahama stands tall and want other candidates to step down and allow him to go unopposed.
They have, therefore, mobilised funds to purchase a nomination form for him to contest the elections.
According to them during the regime of the former president they were making a headway stressing that today things have become difficult for them citing particularly the challenges that have been confronting them in their businesses.
We want Mahama back, hence we thronged at his office to encourage him amidst our support, the group hinted.
