The Adomakoa Ataa-Kuafo Royal family of Bouho-Krobo in the Afigya Kwabre South District of the Ashanti region, has cautioned encroachers on their lands to vacate or face eviction.
“We are here to sanitise the land. Encroachers had taken over the lands.
“Speaking in an interview with the media, Abusuapanin Akora Poku, posited that some of them build in the night and especially when the Assembly is not in session. By the time you come a building that is at the foundation level has reached lentil.
” Akora Poku said the traditional council has now established a stool lands secretariat to deal with land issues, so I will entreat those who want to acquire parcels of land to go to the secretariat for proper documentation,”
“Our stool land secretariat has just started working, and they will gradually reverse any unauthorised sale of parcels of land within our jurisdiction, and they will do it according to our rules and regulations, considering the law on land administration,” Akora Poku emphasised.
