The New Jerusalem Chapel in Kumasi Ampabame was filled with an atmosphere of fervent praise and thanksgiving as Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu led a powerful healing service, resulting in the recovery of twenty individuals from spiritual infirmities.

The premises buzzed with the sounds of joyful singing and heartfelt testimonies as the healed, both men and women, were baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, marking their new beginning in faith and commitment to carrying their crosses for eternal salvation.

The culmination of several days of dedicated spiritual healing led by Bishop Dr. Adu, the event served as a powerful testament to the bishop’s ministry and the enduring belief in God’s healing power. Before the baptisms, Bishop Dr. Adu addressed the congregation, expressing his profound gratitude for God’s divine intervention in the lives of the twenty individuals.

He emphasized that the healing was solely attributable to the power of God, reiterating that “no earthly person can use their strength to set people free without the power of God.” He cautioned his followers against underrating the power of the word of God, declaring it the true source of healing.

As an international prophet with nearly 50 years of ministry experience, Bishop Dr. Adu spoke with conviction, emphasizing that Jesus Christ holds the solution to all of humanity’s challenges.

He stressed the importance of honoring the name of Christ at all times, portraying Him as the ultimate source of both healing and salvation.

He underscored this by pointing to the prophecies in Isaiah, highlighting how even the miracles of Christ had been foretold. He cited Matthew 8:16, where it reads, “When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick,” connecting it to the prophecy, “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”

Bishop Dr. Adu implored the congregation to fully trust in God, reminding them that human strength is insufficient for true healing. He also issued a warning against seeking help from fake prophets who seek only to exploit their followers through extortion and false promises.

He urged the people to be discerning and to remain rooted in the true word of God.

As the community prepares for the New Year, Bishop Dr. Adu extended a heartfelt invitation to the general public to join the New Jerusalem Chapel in worship and to experience the genuine power of God in 2025. The healing service served as a powerful reminder of the enduring faith and the transformative power of belief in the divine.
