More Casualties Rock Npp Backyard At Assin North Constituency….as chairman Wontumi, Nana ‘B’ missed in action.
A celebrated philosopher Abraham Lincoln, once said “You can fool the people all the time,but you cannot fool the people all the time when they become more wiser”.
This clearly refers to the attempts been made by the New Patriotic Party (Npp) to fool voters to vote for their candidate in the just ended Assin North Constituency primaries.
Reports alleged that before the historic elections Npp goons took upon themselves to dish out several billions of cedis in addition to other goodies to bribe their way through, apparently in their bid to win the elections.
The alleged bribery exercise was said to have been made in the open without shame, apart from the construction of roads linking the Constituency.
But as Abraham Lincoln said, when the people becomes wiser no amount of words can change their decisions.
The Assin North elections also witnessed unprecedented ‘idiot and contemptuous’ utterances from some leading politicians who were up for mischief.
But the truth is that if God says yes, no earthly person can say no and change His decision.
A credible reports filed by our crack investigative journalists from the Assin North Constituency with regards to the elections yesterday revealed that discomfort and discouragement greeted number of Npp stalwarts who had earlier came out to prejudice the elections results in the favor of it party.
Reports allegedly implicated particularly the Ashanti Regional chairman, Benard Antwi Bosiako known as chairman Wontumi and Nana ‘B’ a leading figure of the Npp as some of politicians who predicted possible victory for the Npp.
According to our reporters as at 1.30 pm yesterday when it became obvious to such gentlemen that the Npp was on the roadmap to humiliation, the whereabouts of the two could not be found.
They have miserably left here to an unknown place, supporter of Npp indicated when our team made an attempt to interview Wontumi for his reactions about the shocking results that was coming out in favor of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Obviously, God has spoken, as Gyakye Qyason has won a free and fair elections, a dancing Ndc stalwart told the reporters, concluding that the same shock will greet the Npp, come 2024 general elections.
Based on the results Ghanaians wanted to know about who spoke the truth in the electoral wining predictions: His Excellency, former president John Dramani Mahama or the sitting president Akuffo Addo, only time will tell.
