The Ada Sege Constituency, a Constituency that has long been a stronghold for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) since the inception of the Fourth Republic in 1992, is bracing for a seismic shift.
Mr. Abraham Ahuma Tetteh Karimu affectionately known as Small Jesus has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Organizer position citing the urgent need for a more aggressive and strategic approach to dismantle the NDC’s grip on the area.
Challenging the Status Quo:
In an exclusive interview with the Correspondent, Mr. Karimu did not mince words regarding the NPP’s historical struggles in the constituency.

He noted that since 1992, the NDC has maintained dominance to the detriment of NPP members.
According to the aspirant this dominance is not necessarily a reflection of superior policy, but rather a result of the NDC’s “dirty campaign strategies” which have gone largely unchecked due to lack of dedicated, vigilant personnel within the NPP ranks to counter them.
It is time the NDC front is broken and taken over by the NPP, Mr. Karimu stated. He expressed strong confidence that with the right leadership, winning of the 2028 elections by Dr
Bawumia would be more than possible.
A Call for a Firebrand Organizer:
“Small Jesus” who describes himself as a man of political maturity, tested and experienced believes that his decision to run for a Constituency Organizer is born out of a desire to overhaul the party’s machinery.
He reiterated that the constituency’s current leadership needs a firebrand approach that is someone who is not afraid to engage in the political battlefield to neutralize NDC propaganda.
The role of a Constituency Organizer is the heartbeat of the party he emphasized.
It requires a strategic, matured and bold individual who can bring everyone on board, including the aggrieved members who have been sidelined,, he hinted.
Harnessing Potential and Transparency:
Mr. Karimu pointed out that the Ada Sege Constituency is rich in untapped potential and opportunities.
However, he lamented that the current NDC leadership has acted as a stumbling block and has failed to uphold fairness and transparency which has left the residents of the constituency to suffer from a lack of development.
He promised that if elected, his tenure would be characterized by
an open door policy to ensure that every member of the party has a voice.
Unity and Transparency: Solving internal rifts to present a united front against the opposition, he said would be prioritized
Strategic Mobilization: Implementing innovative campaign tactics to attract floating voters and win over disillusioned NDC supporters would also be inclusive in his administration when power is transferred to him.
Plea to Delegates:
As the NPP prepares for its constituency elections, “Small Jesus” is calling on all party faithful and, most importantly, the delegates to throw their weight behind him.
He assured them that his leadership would not be one of complacency, but one of an actions designed to transition the constituency from an NDC stronghold into a fortress for the NPP.
