It is also a direct path to electoral suicide, Isaac Anyimah told the Correspondent in an interview.

Addressing the current political climate in the Constituency Mr. Anyimah expressed deep concern that the party is already showing signs of internal frictions which he warned could crumble the NDC’s foundations if not addressed before the 2028 general elections.

It would be suicidal for the NDC to lose power in 2028 simply because of factionalism and internal disunity.

It is deeply unfortunate that we are already seeing signs of infighting as he warns those party members who have bent to sabotage the party in power.

Look at the NPP, the aspirant said they are currently suffering precisely because of their lack of discipline, unity, and internal support.

Beyond party politics, Mr. Anyimah challenged his fellow politicians to adopt a more community-centered approach to leadership.

Echoing recent calls from traditional leaders in the area, he urged politicians to prioritize the welfare and moral uprightness of the youth.

He expressed concern over the rising trend of social vices among the youth and pledged that when elected as the Vice Constituency Chairman, his tenure would be defined by a relentless fight for youth empowerment and the creation of sustainable job opportunities.

My primary focus will be to steer our youth away from social vices, he assured.

We must provide the youth with the tools and jobs they need to build a future, rather than just using them for partisan politics.

We need to follow the example of our traditional leaders who are actively advocating for the well-being of the next generation.

Mr. Anyimah concluded by calling for a unified front, urging all executives and party members to unite for development to ensure that the NDC remains as a strong, attractive, and disciplined force capable of securing victory in the next election.
