Top pastor supports Dormamahene’s pro-Gyakye Quayson’s statement…as he insists the ” Year of Return” should be enforced devoid of dirty politics.
Founder and leader of the Christ Miracle Power Mission located at Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region, Very Rev Anthony Kwarteng has disclosed that he supports the Dormamahene’s pro-Gyakye Quayson’s statement in which he (Dormamahene) appealed to Akuffo Addo to use his influence to set the Assin North Mp free.
The man of God observed that at this crucial moment where the country needs people of integrity and hard work to overturn the decline of the economy, the Mp is one of the choice who needs to be set free to archive his agenda for the country.
Very Rev Anthony Kwarteng in an interview with the correspondent, observed that Akuffo Addo, known to be a father of all, and having the country at heart, hence he took to a rigid to campaign for the ” Year of Return”.
The focus of the presidential ” “year of return” the clergy said was aimed at drawing the attention of Ghanaians abroad to come home and contribute their quota towards national development.
I think the president was on the right path about his assertion, and asked on why Hon James Gyakye Quayson who decided to come home and contribute to the growth of the economy is now treated like a stranger by allegedly using politics to frustrate him.
The clergy noted that the country does not belongs to politicians nor any super human being in Ghana, but rather Ghanaians themselves and as such peace must allowed to reign.
Very Rev Anthony Kwarteng insisted that he would not comment on the real issues at the court, but as a man of God and Ghanaian as well, he wanted to put on records that it was man who made the law, and it is not the law which made its own laws for mankind.
He referred Jesus Christ who found it appropriate to save a soul on the Sabbath Day, though the Sabbath has been treated as a special law for worship by God.
It is for this reason, hence l am also passionately appealing to the authorities to end the criminal trial case against the Assin Mp to enable him have peace of mind to work for Ghana.
About the alleged unnecessary comments some politicians have been making about the James Gyakye Quayson’s issues apparently with the aim at bringing him down, the humble man of God appealed to such politicians to refrain from the acts.
He noted that the acts constitute to dirty politics that cannot gained anyone profit.
I believe what the president said about the “year of return”
and for that matter we should encourage our brothers and sisters in the foreign lands to come home and contribute their quota towards national development, just like what Hon James Gyakye Quayson has been doing here in Ghana, the powerful Prophet concluded.
The government is prosecuting, Hon James Gyakye Quayson for alleged forgery and perjury regarding his dual citizenship in the run-up to the 2020 Parliamentary elections.
